Bennett picked up three wickets to take his season's tally to 32 and claim the title of Far South Coast Cricket Association premier division's best bowler.
He wasn't shy with the bat either, hitting 59 runs in Tathra's successful run chase.
Batting first, Bermagui was all out for 120 in the 35th over, best served by Jason Berry on 72no.
However, Bennett (3/29), Adam Blacka (2/14) and Daniel Ryan (2/30) were devastating with ball in hand.
In response, Tathra ran down the meagre total in 12.1 overs, dropping only one wicket, Bennett's, in the process.
Chris Dwyer and Ben O'Reilly were the undefeated batsmen, on 47 and 10 respectively.
In the weekend's other premier division games there were also solid victories to Bega/Angledale and Eden.
Bega bowled Merimbula out for 64 at George Griffin Oval before quickly chasing it down, claiming the points with 3/67 in 14 overs.
Evan Gray did the most damage on the day, with bowling figures of 4/18 and then 27no with the bat. He was supported by fellow Bega bowler Hamish Willcox who took 3/21.
Merimbula's Zac Harlow (3/12) claimed all three of Bega's scalps during his six overs.
Eden hosted South Eurobodalla and batted first, making 221 before being bowled out. In response, the Pirates could only manage 128.
MD Bell wreaked havoc among the South Euro batters, claiming five wickets for only nine runs off his eight overs. Dean Friskin was the only Pirate to make a start, making 64 off 65 balls before falling to Tim Bowes.
For Eden, Bowes took the batting honours with 57, well supported by opener Drew Mudaliar on 48, Mark Spink (31) and Tyrone Thomas (22).
South Euro threw everything they had at Eden, using eight different bowlers in efforts to try to halt the flow of runs. Wickets were shared around, with five bowlers claiming two apiece.
In the round's other recorded game, Pambula (3/110) defeated Kameruka (108) at Lord's View Oval.
The weekend's round concluded the 2018/19 regular season, with semi-finals to be played on March 16. Match-ups include Tathra v Eden, Merimbula v Bega/Angledale, Pambula v Mallacoota and Sth Eurobodalla v Bermagui.
