Di, a relatively new player, came up against experienced player and many times winner of this title, Annabel Gammon,  in the final after both players had tough games to reach that position. 

The name of the game is Consistency and that it what both players showed throughout the match.  The lead changed numerous times and on many occasions the scores were level until eventually Di got her head in front and took the title.  Congratulations to both ladies on an excellent game.  

All club championships and competitions for 2018 have almost been completed and from now until the end of the year social bowls will be the order of the day.  Visiting bowlers, both women and men, are always welcome. Contact the bowls office on 6494 4199 between 9-9.15am on Thursday mornings to put your name down.
