Flexibus request
I just read your article regarding the flexi-bus within the Bega Valley and that the Merimbula-Bega route was the most popular, leaving Candelo and Eden with the lowest participant rates.

Forgive me if I missed the information on how to use the service and what app or number to use to become a user of the service, just that I would be very interested in using it.
Please forward me the relevant information regarding this service if you are able, not only so I may then use the service but so that I may pass it on to others in our community that I know would not only use this service, but are in desperate need of it.

Editor's note: Thanks Wendy. You can find out more information about the Bega Valley's on-demand Flexibus service at their website. It also gives you the option to book online. Visit www.flexibus.com.au for all the details or call 6495 6452. There is also an app available for both iOS and Android phones. Search the Apple Store or Google Play for 'Flexibus', or the links are also available on their website
Environmental impact
My concerns and questions relate to the environmental impact of increasing the camping sites at both Saltwater Creek and Bitangabee.
I would like more information about the siting of additional camping at both locations. Increasing the camping availability at both sites can only occur by 'creep' into the surrounding bushland which will impact on both the native flora and fauna.
In addition the increase in associated facilities, for example toilet blocks, needs to be considered.
Over many years of camping in both areas, we have noted a decrease of native wildlife such as the hooded plover and satin bower bird. I have significant concerns about the negative impact of increasing camping accommodation on the native wildlife.

Payroll tax penalising
Dear Mr Constance,
I'm writing to you today to ask you for your thoughts on payroll tax.
Today, our company was hit with a payroll tax bill of $14496.93. This tax is grossly unfair because we are actually being penalised for creating jobs.
What makes matters worse is that it's a state tax, giving our competitors in other states an unfair advantage. Has there been any discussion in parliament about abolishing this tax?
I know the threshold has been lifted to $900,000 next year, but even at this level it is affecting small to medium business.
It is also worth mentioning that the amount of money forfeited to the government today would have covered the cost of concrete on our new production facility development in Pambula. This facility will create even more jobs, but we have to ask ourselves "what's the point" if we are going to be slapped with additional tax from a penny pinching government.
I would be interested to have a discussion with you on this matter and perhaps get your input as to what the state government can do to help us in our efforts to create growth and more employment in your electorate.
