Last seen at his accommodation on July 15 before being reported missing three days later, Brett Ingram had been living in the area.
Earlier this week the Monaro Police District said they had concerns for his welfare so were appealing to the public for information on the 28-year-old's whereabouts as he needs medical attention.
Speaking on Thursday, police said there were reports Mr Ingram had been seen in Goulburn.
While he had reportedly been active on Facebook recently, he still needed to present himself to a police station or contact police and ask them to visit him at his location so he could be sighted and confirmed safe and well.
Police said he had not broken any laws and asked anyone that knew him to encourage him to contact them.
If you have information about his whereabouts you can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
