Ryefield is hosting a "tap takeover" at Longstocking Brewery, Oaklands, this Saturday, April 6, from 3pm. Sample beers brewed using this season's harvest of Ryefield hops from well-known craft breweries Capital, Modus Operandi and Eden Brewery, as well as startup Gypsy Brewers from Wollongong, Coal Coast Brewery and Barellan Beer.
Then on Sunday, April 7, join Ryefield Hops at Scotch Oven Bemboka for a ticketed event where the entry cost will get you your first drink, gourmet pizza and live entertainment.
The event runs from 3-6pm with bookings essential at Scotch Oven or call 6493 0582.
Ryefield Hops is a family-owned business that grows organic hops in Bemboka for craft breweries across Australia.
This season they hand picked 600kg of hops off the bines with help from family, friends and the community. It is extremely time consuming to pick hops manually, weith Ryefield expressing their appreciation for all the help they received.
