Officials said sea fog covered the course on the first day, creating added interest in the men’s entries.
There were 68 starters on the course with the win going to John Enright and club captain Bob Howland with 49 points. A close second with 47 points were Laurie Evans and Tony Carroll, while Ben Potter and Vinnie Ford, celebrating his 80th, secured third on 45.

Ladies officials said they were also thrilled with the turnout on all four days, but said it was disappointing to play the flood course due to the Bega river mouth closing again.
The four-ball winners were Sally Armstrong and Yetti Burgess, who carded 46 stableford points.
Runners-up just one behind were the combination of Ivi Streimann and Deidre Fenely.
