Thursday’s winner was Jack Roberts with a very good score of 42 points.
The nearest to pins were won by; (9th) H Moore, (12th Golden Shot) T Grebert, (15th) NIL, (17th) M Krucler, (18th) J Roberts.
Saturday’s tough conditions didn’t frighten everyone off with Roberts again beating all comers in A grade with 38. Laurie Billman continued his good recent form with 38 in B grade while Steven Jones had the day’s best score with 40 in C grade.
In the 4BBB team matchplay final Dave Jones and Mitch Bucholtz defeated Rob Whitford and Selwyn Yates on the 19th.
NTPs were won by: (9th) J Roberts and J Edmunds, (12th Golden Shot) I Marr, (15th) G Roberts and E Gray, (17th) G Roberts and C Leahy, (18th) G Roberts.
This week’s event is a single stableford so grab a partner and enjoy the wonderful course in great condition.
Last Sunday’s Big Ball Drop and Family Fun Day was a great success with 106 balls being dropped out of the crane. Plenty of activities and fun was had by many families. Barry Greneger was the lucky owner of the Big Ball. The club thanks everyone for their sponsorship and support.
Ladies
Bega Golf Ladies played a stableford as the start of the Summer Plate on Wednesday, welcoming six ladies from Toongabbie, Victoria to play.
Kerry Carter played a delightful game, just missing a hole in one on the 7th and coming in with 40 points to win Division 1. Division 2 was won by Rhonda Van Bracht with 37 points. The best of the visitors was Leanne.
New player Annette Britton was the winner of the Nearest the Pin on the 9th and Kerry Carter had the best 2nd shot on the 18th.
Wednesday’s 9 hole comp was won by Barbara Chambers.
Saturday’s play was interrupted by the storm with the ladies only playing 14 holes. Annette Britton had her first competition win with 25 points for the 14 holes. Veronica Coman was runner-up with 21 on a count-back.
Monday’s 10 hole competition was won by Angie Wood, second was Sue Behl, Lorraine Gregson was third and Shirley Newlove fourth.
Saturday and next Wednesday are both stablefords.
