The happy pair, who both have Down Syndrome, met at Bega High School over ten years ago and have created a wonderful life together where they have been supported to live independently.
The wind and rain that plagued the South Coast the week leading up to the wedding held off just long enough for the ceremony to be held outdoors, under a moody but magnificent sky.
The surf club was a fitting venue choice for Tim and Amanda, who had been long-term members of Same Wave Pambula, a program that teaches important beach and surf skills for children and adults with additional needs.

Amanda was given a guard of honour made from the red and yellow rescue tube by members of the SLSC as she was walked down the aisle and was given away by her two brothers Nick and Josh Bowering.
Tim and Amanda had 70 guests at their wedding, with a guest list of family, close friends, and their support workers.
Amanda's mother Margot Bowering said organising the event was a real "community effort" with decorations provided by a friend and flowers gifted by Amanda's cousin who worked as a florist.

Amanda chose her stunning wedding dress, with intricate lacing at the back, from CC Bridal in Pambula. Amanda said she felt really "great" and "beautiful" on the day.
The bride and her three bridesmaids, wearing various shades of purple, travelled to the ceremony from Ms Bowering's house in a black limousine.
Tim had three groomsmen who all wore purple ties to match their bridesmaids, and Amanda's young nephew walked down the aisle with a basket of rose petals.
The finger food at their wedding reception, held upstairs at the SLSC, was catered by Tathra business Cool Catering. Their cake, that doubled as dessert, was a beautiful black forest cake made by a friend.
Amanda gave a speech on the night and thanked everyone for attending, and the couple spent the rest of their evening dancing to a playlist curated by Amanda's brother Nick.
Prior to the wedding, the couple celebrated their final days of singledom with their bucks and hens' parties.
Tim's bucks party started off with a game or two of ten-pin bowling before getting the party started at the Merimbula RSL Club, and finishing it at the Lakeview Hotel. Tim described his night as a "wild one".
Amana's night on the other hand started at Dulcie's Cottage and ended at Kitty's Bar at Club Sapphire, with Amanda telling ACM that she celebrated the night away with an array of fancy cocktails.
The couple travelled to Tim's hometown in Tasmania a few days after the wedding to visit family and friends for their honeymoon.
Tim took his new wife to visit his grandparents grave to lay flowers, something he had been wanting to do ever since the couple had been together.
"It wasn't that sad, it was a happy moment because Amanda was with me," said Tim.
