A vehicle with a Victorian number plate was travelling south when the female driver of the car reportedly lost control at the bend. The car flipped on to its roof.
There was a female driver and male passenger who both escaped from the vehicle with some minor injuries.
Despite reports of those involved in the crash trying to slow down oncoming traffic, a second car with a man from the Bega Valley collided with the car.
The second vehicle remained upright but ended up on the embankment. The second driver was reportedly able to step out from the vehicle unharmed.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene.
Ambulance and police reports indicate that the female driver was transported to South East Regional Hospital and was treated for some minor injuries before being released.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene of the crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Alcohol was ruled out as a contributing factor on the scene but other possible causes have not yet been ruled out.
Police say wet weather could be a possible cause.
The RFS cleaned up the scene and official reports say that the roads are now clear and free of debris.
