The group, run in the style of Theatresports, is about learning the art of improvisation through games.
“It’s great fun, it really pushes you out of your comfort zone,” member Vicki Brooks of Kalaru said.
Organiser Peta Burchell described the games as “mindfulness in action” as nothing is rehearsed and they teach life skills, such as public speaking, in a comfortable space.
Above all, they are fun.
Sessions may involve word or memory games designed to play with your mind.
Ms Burchell said Theatre Games ran in Bega about seven years ago and she taught them in Portugal for two years before returning.
The games are at Funhouse Studio on 3 Hill St, Bega from 5.30-7pm each Wednesday for ages over 16.
Cost is $20 a session, for more information contact Ms Burchell on 0448 782 945 or ptburchell@yahoo.com.
