The November meeting took on a 'Spring Racing Carnival' theme with many ladies looking spectacular in their racing outfits! It was lovely to be able to socialise over afternoon tea now that restrictions have eased.
Another recent social event was a 'Cocktail Hour' to say farewell to long-time and popular member Vicki Hummel.
Bermagui and district ladies are going to miss Vicki enormously. She has held may committee positions, including international officer, cultural officer and councillor at branch level.
At group level Vicki has been cultural officer, vice-president and was also on the planning committee for the state conference held in Bega earlier this year. Members wish Vicki every blessing for the future.
The next meeting for Bermagui and District CWA will be on Friday, December 3, at 1pm. Members are reminded to bring an item for the traditional Christmas hamper. Guest speaker will be Grant Keeble giving an update on the Sapphire Cove Development in Bermagui.
The annual Christmas lunch will be held at Bermagui Beachside Café on Friday, December 10. Christmas is traditionally a time for family, food and fellowship, members would like to wish readers peace and joy all season long. Merry Christmas!
