After the cancellation of one annual general meeting due to COVID restrictions, Merimbula Water Dragons decided to hold their meeting outside and enjoy a barbecue at the new public facilities close to the Pambula Surf Life Saving Club.
The club is currently unable to paddle due to restrictions on community sport although individual members have been making use of single outrigging craft.
The club has COVID-safe plans which allowed it to host around 30 members under current NSW Health rules.
Gill McCallum was re-elected as president with new members Susan Terry and Natalie Lyons joining the largely re-elected committee.
The club will resume paddling as soon as COVID restrictions are lifted and continue with regular sessions including the new paddler training program.
If you would like to find out more about how you can take part in this social and competitive team sport contact the president Gill McCallum on 0419 317 642.
