There were six classes in contention with four heats and a final for each class with officials saying the competition was very close with good sportsmanship shown by the drivers.
In the Cadet 9 class, Oscar Haddon was first from runner-up Cody Williams and Laura Hutchinson in third.
"This class is for children who are starting out and our youngest competition driver is only seven years old. We can't wait to see our newest Cadet nine members join this class in future races," a spokeswoman said.
The Cadet 12s formed the mainstay of the racers and had a great day out with Liam Finney topping the field from Mitchell Love in second and Tyla Radford in third. Harrison Klemm finished fourth with Chaise Scott and Ashley Parker close behind.
"The racing was close, fast and enjoyable to watch, well done to all and congratulations to Chaise Scott on a great performance in his first race with SCKC," the spokeswoman said.
KA4 Junior Lights results were 1st Orlando and 2nd Annabella Hutchinson, their race was close and they both scored the same number of points to tie and the winner was decided over the fastest lap of the day.
KA3 Juniors heats and final definitely was a nail biting, edge of the seat performance by all. Coming in 1st was Aidan Williams, 2nd Brodie Radford, 3rd Chloe Radford and 4th was Ryan Johnston.
Two senior classes combined into one field and put on a show for the spectators.
Tag 125 Restricted Light saw Craig Colbourne take out 1st with Archie Newton coming in 2nd on his very first race as a Senior competitor. The Tag 125 Lights were consistently fast with Matthew Parker in first from Tyson Moon and Juno Maliniemi.
The spokeswoman said the club was grateful to the committee, members and officials who make race weekends possible. She also thanked Andrew Larkin from Kartography for capturing our drivers in action.
