A man accused of taking part in armed robberies in Armidale and on the South Coast will face court today.

NSW Police said the 27-year-old was arrested on Thursday at a home on Marsh St in Armidale following an investigation into an alleged armed robbery of a service station in Narooma in October last year.
Police allege the man, and an accomplice, used a tree branch and a piece of timber and a rock to smash electronic equipment before demanding a money and cigarettes from service station staff before both allegedly fled the scene on foot.
The man was charged at Armidale Police Station with robbery armed with an offensive weapon.
He was also charged with a number of offences relating to further armed robberies in the New England region.
Police said they are still seeking information on the man's accomplice who they described as aged between 18 and 20, with a thin to medium build and of Aboriginal or Torres Strait appearance.

He was refused bail and is due to appear in Armidale Local Court on Monday 20 January 2020.
The second man involved in the incident remains outstanding.
As investigations continue, police are appealing for information about a second man who was allegedly involved in the incident at Narooma.
He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged 18 to 20, with a thin to medium build.
Inquiries are continuing.
