The Rural Fire Service is reporting the bushfire south of Cobargo township is being controlled, with the alert level again downgraded to Advice.
Conditions are easing, with firefighters working to slow the spread of the fire in grasslands.
It has burnt more than 100 hectares, with one shed reported lost, but no homes.
Residents should continue to monitor conditions. Follow your bush fire survival plan
UPDATE, 4.30pm:
The bushfire burning south of Cobargo has been downgraded to a Watch and Act status.
The fire has burnt more than 100 hectares and is remains currently out of control.
However, conditions are easing and firefighters believe they are beginning to gain the upper hand, working to slow the spread of the fire in grasslands.
Residents should continue to monitor conditions. Follow your bush fire survival plan.

UPDATE, 4.20pm:
Marty Webster from the Bega Valley Rural Fire Service says 30 RFS personnel in 12 appliances are battling the blaze.
Fire and Rescue NSW personnel are also assisting, as are two water bombing aircraft.
"We're just engaging two bulldozers as well."
Mr Webster said there have been no residential homes lost in the blaze, but there are reports of at least one shed burnt down.
"There was certainly an imminent threat to property early on and we believe that's eased now."
EARLIER: Firefighters are tackling an out of control bushfire south of Cobargo.
At 3.25pm on Saturday, the NSW Rural Fire Service said the fire, which has burnt more than 100 hectares, is out of control and moving fast.
A water bombing helicopter is already up and working to help fight the fire south of Cobargo, while SES crews are reportedly on standby to assist in any evacuation.
Bega Valley Shire Council has opened an evacuation centre for residents at the Bermagui Surf Life Saving Club off Lamont St In Bermagui.
Strong winds are causing the fire to spread quickly, in an easterly direction and firefighters are working to slow the spread of the fire.
If you are in the area of the Cobargo-Bermagui Rd or Barrabaroo Rd, and your plan is to leave, the RFS recommends leaving now, if the path is clear, towards Bermagui.
The RFS recommends residents follow their bushfire survival plan.
