Seven Bega Valley 'stars' and their dance partners played to a sold-out auditorium on Saturday night, August 31.
There was some great dancing...some not so much...but it was all a lot of fun and all in the name of charity.
Money raised on the night, by each star's own fundraising as well as ticket sales, raffles and donations, will go to the Cancer Council NSW to further their efforts in research and support programs.
The stars who strapped on their dance shoes included...actually one left his shoes - and pants - behind to hit the floor in a Risky Business-Tom Cruise routine, while another lost a high heel shoe on her first twirl but didn't miss a beat and barely anyone noticed.
So the stars were Alison Mannell from One Agency Dwyer Properties Merimbula, Emma Keft from 2EC/Power FM, Garry Cooper from NSW Rural Fire Service, Hannah White from Eden Motel, Lily Warby from Bega Hospital, Megan Pricolo from I am Megan and Tim Shinnick from Australian Community Media.
