The headline of those being two results to the Eden Tigers over highly-fancied opponents in the Bombala Blue Heelers.
The Tigers clinched an 18-12 win over the Blue Heelers at the Bombala Showground in Saturday's elimination final, ending the defending premier's season, while also setting up a minor semi-final clash with the Bulldogs in Pambula this weekend.
Then on Sunday morning, the Tigerettes took down the High Heelers in the league-tag match 18-4 to set up a major-semi against the Bega Chicks this weekend.
While those results ticked off a couple of 'upsets' for the league pundits, there were also plenty of blow ups on Sunday with both the 18s and reserve grade contests marred by tempers and on-field altercations.
The Bulldogs defeated the Cooma Stallions in the 18s with a 32-22 scoreline, but play broke down on repeated occasions.
Particularly in the second half, despite a Cooma fightback on the scoreboard play was marred by several bone-crunching hits that flared scuffles - the worst of which came in the final minute to dampen the result.
Reserves was also heated with three send offs in the second half as the Snowy River Bears and Eden Tigers slammed each other in a battering encounter.
The Bears were able to advance with a 28-20 win in extra time after a 16-16 draw at the final siren.
Bombala won reserves on Saturday and Cooma advance in league-tag.
