On Sunday the members played their Foursomes Championships over 27 holes. Listening to the sad and funny stories after 18 holes it isn't any wonder it Is called "fearsomes" by many. After a lovely lunch provided by the ladies they set out for the last 9 holes there were some good improvements in the scores.
Foursomes Scratch Champions are Joel Cherry & Clay Stewart 119. Joel and Clay were the defending champions. Their score last year was 115. The runners up were Nick Ryan and Chris Halligan 121. Maybe the couple of out of bounds cost them and we believe a lost ball on the 14th also.
Foursomes Handicap Champions are Nick Ryan & Chris Halligan 101.5 nett from Brendan Weston & Wayne Elton 107 nett. Believe they had trouble finding the fairways. Ball Winners were Nick and Chris 101.5, Westy and Rub 107, Joel and Clay 107. Congratulations to the Foursomes Champions for 2019.
