The band comprises Dan Barnett on trombone, shells and vocals, George Washingmachine on violin and vocals, Mike Walsh on bass, Peter Locke on keyboards and Cyril Bevan on drums.
Barnett was born into music, being the son of the legendary Sydney bassist Cliff Barnett.
He began his musical life as a trombonist and quickly developed a love for singing and has since carved out an enviable reputation on the Australian music scene.
Russian-born Washingmachine has had a vast and varied career in the entertainment business.
As a child he trained for seven years as a classical violinist, leaving that behind to form a rhythm and blues band as guitarist, until 1984, when he moved to Sydney and started playing jazz fiddle with The Conway Brothers Hiccup Orchestra.
Tickets are $20 and the concert is at Club Sapphire, Merimbula on October 4 from 7.30pm.
