Upgrades to the Cooma Saleyards continue to attract plenty of interest from buyers and sellers right across the south east and southern tablelands. Strong crowds have been on hand for the recent sales and there seems to be a real enthusiasm about the improved facility.
There’s less than six months to go before Snowy Monaro Regional Council elections take place. There will be elected councillors and this is your chance to either stand for council or use your vote to help shape the region you want to live in. In the coming weeks there will be further information about how the process will take place, and how you can have your say.
Snowy Monaro Regional Council has a number of exciting initiatives and partnerships coming your way for peak tourism season. We’re committed to ensuring the entire region can capitalise on the spike in visitations throughout the winter season.
It’s been great to receive feedback from many community groups and organisations who’ve been successful in receiving funding through the Stronger Communities Fund.
These groups are in the process of completing the projects they received funds for, and it’s exciting to see the positive impact they’ll have for their communities.
