After a number of years of playing the Hole-In-One Nest Egg, Simon Stephen played the perfect shot (from all reports had a little help) holing out on the 17th taking home a healthy nest egg. His playing partners wouldn’t repeat what he said when he saw the ball disappear.

Saturday Members played a Stableford for L Jones Trophy. The winner with the good score of 40 pts was Ray Fermor. Balls were won by Ray and Paul Halligan 36 pts.
Sunday was the first round of the 4 BBB Championships. Leaders at this stage are Simon Stephen and Herbie Elliott 72 from Cary Elton and Brad Yelds 73. Balls went to Simon and Herbie 69 nett and Cary and Brad 60 nett. NTP of course was won by Simon Stephen for his hole in one.
Ladies on Wednesday played a Stableford for a Ball. Joy Douch was the winner with 28 pts.

(six of them coin tosses). Wednesday, June 29 social bowls Chris X and K Callaway def B Beileiter and R Dent 21-15. Sat urday, July 2 social bowls A Dent and N Brotherton def G Griggs and B Crouch 28-23. Candelo have changed the dates for their carnival from July 23 and 24 to July 30 and 31 so the third round of handicap singles is now on the 23rd and the first round of triples is on the 24th. All players please check board for dates next week the first round of handicap singles sponsored by Bi - Rite Electrical & Hardware is due to be played. Jack
Junior League
Bombala travelled to Narooma on Saturday to play the Devils on their home turf. Under 7's played two games this weekend. Torin Hillyer was Milo Man of The Match
Under 8’s were short a few players and were beaten 6 to 4. Milo Player of the Match was Gracie (Possum) Brownlie.
Under 9’s Arlen Hillyer and Xander Paynter sustained injuries but are both fine now. Milo player of the Match was Lachlan Reed.
The Girls League Tag Pink Heelers were down some key players. Powerade Player of the Match was Shauna Keevey.
Under 14’s didn’t get a win. Players Player- Chance Westaway, 3 points to Rowen Keavey, 2 points Bryson Phillip-Jones and 1 point Blake Brownlie. Full report online bombalatimes.com.au
