First up for the Bombala High Heelers, Maree Coates took out the Group 16 Best and Fairest award for the Ladies League Tag competition.
This is the second year running that Maree has received this prestigious award; a testament to her commitment to the game and great sportsmanship across the league.
Upon receiving the award Maree thanked the group for supporting Ladies League Tag within the competition.
She also made special mention of the Bombala and District Rugby League Club’s effort to return to the competition, and the support they have shown their players throughout the season.
Meanwhile Bombala’s Luke Ingram, who has been playing for Cooma, topped off a very exciting season, being awarded the Junior Representative Player of the Year.
Luke has had a meteoric rise up the rugby league ranks this year, firstly starring for the Stallions Under 18s before impressing country selectors with his performances in the front row for the Greater Southern Stingrays.
Luke has even played representative football in New Zealand this month after being rewarded for his sensational form at the Country Rugby League Championships.
Back to last Friday’s Presentation Night, Luke’s teammate in the Cooma Under 18s, Tyler Jones, also of Bombala, shared the Top Try Scorer award for his grade with Bega's Connor Carr.
