John’s first day of trading at the butchery was last Wednesday, December 10, and he is greatly looking forward to providing the community with more local food options from around the region.
A great example is the fresh organic sourdough bread which is baked in a wood fired oven in Candelo and delivered to the butchery every Wednesday.
And coming up soon will be lines of local region olives, cheeses, preserves and more.
And of course John will focus on sourcing great quality local meat, and will soon be offering meat produced both at South Bukalong and Palarang.
It’s a busy time to be settling into a new business venture, but John is excited about taking on Farmgate Gourmet Meats and everyone is encouraged to pop into the local butchery and see what’s on offer.
