THE Cooma Fillies had the Bega Chicks on the back foot from the opening kick.
An unfortunate handling error saw the Fillies pick up possession at Bega's 30 on the kick-off.
An ensuing penalty to Cooma saw them take the two-point kick, the margin they had lost by in Moruya, which Maree Ingram slotted and put the Fillies in front.
Bega and Cooma then settled in to their rhythm, gaining what metres they could and tagging hard.
Cooma finished their set on their own 40 and kicked deep, a dropped catch caught Bega offguard and the Fillies regained possession for an early try.
It was 8-0 Cooma's way and the Fillies just kept coming.
Bega again rallied to get back in the attack, but couldn't find the line, but an early Cooma kick saw a second knock-on, giving the Fillies back possession.
Another try saw the score beginning to blow out.
Finally, Bega was able to respond through a burst by captain Tegan Mundy, but it proved too little too late for the Chicks.
A common theme in the photos is Cooma's Meg Bracher and it is no surprise that she picked up the player of the match for the Fillies.
