The day will begin with the Mini Triathlon with registration of teams of three from 8am at the pool.
Prize money of up to $1000 has been provided by the committee so it would be worth while to form a team and have a go if only for the chance to get fit in the process.
Activities at the Bombala Exhibition Ground will commence at 9am with the shearing competition once again taking centre stage.
This year the program will feature the NSW Strong Wool Championship along with the usual events which always prove to be popular.
The announcing of the citizen’s and event of the year along with the Australia Day Ambassador Jihad Dib’s address will form the official part of the program.
An Aus Tag competition for year’s
7-11 will be running throughout
the afternoon and dependant upon entry numbers, $1000 prize money will be on offer for the successful team or teams.
Entries will be taken on the day.

Wood chopping will again be a feature of the day and a new addition to the fun games will be laser tag which is similar to paint ball only laser guns are used instead.
Jumping castles for both children and adults will be available along with face painting and a patting paddock.
With full catering the day looks like it will be a day of fun for all so mark it on your calendar as a ‘must do’.
The committee is always looking for new and enthusiastic members to help keep this day going.
