BROWN the dog may just give the Littlest Hobo a run for its money after four months on the road and a frantic owner calling for help from the community. Brown is a 19-month-old maremma dog that escaped its owner's home in Hazlebrook and she's been on the road ever since. For four long months Brown has been making her way west through the Blue Mountains, the Lithgow region, Sunny Corner, Bathurst and she was last seen on Friday morning in Blayney. Up until April 22, Brown had lived on a farm - she'd had little contact with people and had never been on a lead or in a kennel. Traditionally, maremmas are used to guard livestock on farms. They are tough and familiar with being on their own. Following Brown's disappearance her owner Carol Bertram shared missing dog reports on Facebook pages and started a group chat calling on anyone who had seen her dog to let her know.
