Weapons of mass obstruction hurt democracy

If gun control is one of the best policies in the legacy of the Howard government, the decision to commit Australia to the Iraq war is surely among its worst. Now, 20 years later, the Australian public finds out that the Howard cabinet decided to take Australia to war based on nothing more than "oral reports" from the prime minister.
