Bega Valley couple Ron and Joy Smith recently celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary, after sharing six decades of married life together.

The pair were married at the St John's Anglican Church in Bega on April 21, 1962 and later held their reception at the Brogo Hall.
For their honeymoon they undertook a road trip travelling north to Gympie in their VW and caravan.
Over their married years, Ron and Joy ran a successful dairy farm at Brogo for 50 years.
They had three sons, Brian, Roger and Brad, and also have seven grandchildren.
In celebration of their 60 years together the couple celebrated their anniversary at Club Bega on April 24, surrounded by family and friends.
To mark this amazing milestone the happy couple also received celebratory letters of congratulations from the Queen of England, Governor General David Hurley, Prime Minister Scott Morrison and MP Kristy McBain.
