Ghosts hanging from trees, spectres floating above tombstones, a skeleton walking its skeleton dog and a porcelain doll on a crucifix softly moaning in the night - it's a roadside display with a difference.
The spooky scene is the creation of Letitia Carroll and her family, who she said all have fun putting festive displays together.
Letitia said she also sets up Christmas and Easter displays each year and when the BDN spoke with her on Friday she was daubed in red spray paint from turning electric fans into poppies ready for Remembrance and Anzac Day.
"The whole family gets into it," Letitia said.
"I just like the spooky things. I love Halloween and the spookiness of it all.
"We get a bit inventive and I think it's a bit of fun for everyone when people stop here."
Letitia and her family are currently living in a Minderoo pod and caravans on the outskirts of Quaama, nearly two years on since the bushfires razed their home.
Their new home was due to be delivered to the property last week, but the rains caused it to be postponed. It's now scheduled to arrive next week.
"The last couple of weeks have been anxious, with the house coming and then not turning up with the rain," Letitia said.
"This [decorating] brightened me up and kept me occupied."
Interestingly, the ghosts swinging about in the trees are created from the plastic covers that her Minderoo pod mattresses came in, and Letitia is always on the lookout for other items she can repurpose for her front yard displays.
This year her theme was around spirits coming to life and beheading iconic movie monsters and ghouls. Jason's hockey mask and the head of Pennywise the Clown from IT can be spotted among the display.
After the sun goes down the characters are also lit up to give it an even more shiver-inducing look and feel.
She entered her yard into the CostumeBox Halloweekend competition, and while it may not have made the shortlist of guest judge and horror movie director Chris Sun, it's definitely turning heads on the Far South Coast.

Letitia said it was all for the enjoyment of passers-by and local children who drop by trick or treating.
"We always took our kids trick or treating around town when they were younger. At first people were like, 'what are you doing?'.
"It wasn't long before we ended up with a group of kids joining in and visiting the houses we knew didn't mind."
