"We just got back in the swing of it and got the place going, got the beers back on the taps and just got some extra staff to come on," owner Dave Allen said.
Mr Allen said he was happy to see their regulars come back in and was happy to see people meeting back up again in the beer garden on Thursday afternoon.
"It's good to see people get together with a smile on their face, it was similar after the bushfires when we had been shut for a few weeks,
"Just that reconnection with the community and being able to come back here and people can see each other, talk to each other and just have a beer, relax and just enjoy each other's company."
Mr Allen said he would assess what activities the hotel would run after the weekend, looking at potentially bringing back bingo, raffles and trivia nights and more.
"We'll just get through this weekend and see how we go, obviously the concern is that if we get another case we'll go back in lockdown again but fingers crossed that doesn't happen."
