The plans for the Cobargo Rebuild were prepared by TAKT Studio for Architecture, with some assistance from SJB Architects, who provided their services for a small fee which was funded by the Cobargo Bushfire Recovery Fund.

The Bega Valley Shire has been successful in gaining $38 million for a number of projects and community building programs across the shire through Round 2 of the Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund (BLERF).
