Bega ladies golfers have been kept busy with entrants travelling for the FSC and TGA annual tournament, while the club also held its monthly medal over the weekend.

A team of eight ladies ventured up the mountain to Cooma to play in the Far South Coast and Tablelands annual tournament last week, the results were very rewarding with several major awards being won.
Annette Britten was the equal winner of Bronze Division Association Medal, played during last year.
Barbara Ubrihien was Scratch runner up in division three Open 36 holes, Rhonda Van Bracht won division three Open 36 hole Nett with Gillian Petersohn the runner up.
Wendy Hergenhan, Annette Britten, Gillian Petersohn and Barbara Ubrihien won the Cox, Balmain, Bush & Stewart team Trophy.
Day 1 Div.1, 18 holes runner up was Wendy Hergenhan, Gillian won Day 1 Div. 3, 18 holes Nett on a count back from Rhonda Van Bracht. Day 2 Div. 3 winner of the 18 holes Scratch was Barbara Ubrihien.
On Friday in the Foursomes, Wendy and Leanne Illich were the Nett winners in Div.1 and Annette Britten and Barbara Ubrihien were Div. 3 Scratch winners, to win the Margaret Newbound Salver. Well done ladies!
On the course at home, Saturday was the April monthly medal round.
Wendy Hergenhan won both the medal and the putting with a nice 75 Nett and 29 putts. Janelle Holdsworth was runner up with 79 on a count back.
A small field played a Stableford on Monday, the winner after 10 holes and bonus points was Gloria Clarke. Pam Crooks and Sharyn Whiting shared second place and Sharyn won the Putting.
Wednesday was the April Medal and Putting, Kerry Carter had the best score of the day, 70 nett to win the medal and Div.1. Div. 2 was won by Robyn Kilkelly with 74 nett. Balls went to Wendy Hergenhan 71, Debbie Robert's 76, Elyse Cuzner 79 and Veronica Coman 82.
Kerry won the Nearest the Pin and Veronica won the Putting with 27 putts.
In earlier unpublished results, officials were surprised the course was playable last weekend given the heavy rainfall with Wendy Hergenhan continuing her good form to win with 35 points. Wendy, Robyn Kilkelly and Barbara won balls, and Wendy the Nearest the Pin on the 18th.
On a wet course on Monday, 13 ladies played a Stableford on the back 9, winners with 10 holes and bonus points were Annette Britten, 2nd was Gloria Clarke.
Wednesday saw a good field play a Stableford, Barbara Ubrihien was the winner with 33 points on a count back from Shirley Newlove. Balls went to 30. Maria Marr won the Nearest the Pin.
