It is shaping up to be a fantastic day full of music and activities for the kids and a great one to support considering the event had to be first postponed and then moved online in September of last year.
Cobargo businesswoman Kathryn Doolin who organised the event, said the day is all about coming together as a community, sitting down to relax and re-connect.
Ms Doolin explained how great it was to finally be able to hold the event where community members can come down, pull out a picnic blanket (and maybe a tarp) plus a fold out chair to listen to some great music together.
"It's about rebuilding the mental health and supporting our bushfire affected community," she said.
There will be lots of family friendly activities such as jumping castles, a thong throwing competition, milk ladle racing, a cooee competition, markets and even an ice-skating rink.
In addition to being a fun day out, the event also aims to raise money to build sheds with concrete flooring for people who lost their homes in the Black Summer bushfires.
"The sheds will be a safe space for people to store their belongings and a space for them to regather their thoughts whilst rebuilding their homes," she said.
"A lot of people have the 1000L water pods that have been donated, but there's no way of really capturing the water, so people have had to take them into town to get their water there.
"The sheds will be able to capture the runoff water from the roof. People might have water tanks themselves, but the shed will be able to then capture that extra water and store it in the pod.
People will be able to purchase merchandise on the day such as cups, stubby holders and bags with graphics by Australian artist Reg Mombassa.
One-hundred per cent of the proceeds from the merchandise will be going to the shed building efforts.
The event will be held at the Cobargo Showground and the weather forecast is looking promising with partial sun and 22 degrees predicted for most of the day, with a chance of a late shower - so bring a brolly too!
It's free to attend, but people are advised to bring cash for some of the activities.
