Chairperson of WIRES FSE Janine Green said they are asking people to keep an eye out along the beaches following the rescue of two loggerhead turtles.
"One is only just hatched and weighing just 22 grams where the other is a bit older weighing 38 grams," Ms Green said.
"These turtles are listed as a vulnerable species and WIRES is expecting an influx of other seabirds and moulting penguins in the upcoming days.
"If you see an native animal in distress please call 1300 094737," Ms Green said.
