Peter Mitchell of Eden coaches the Women's Group 16 All Stars and said they are very excited about Saturday.
"It's very inclusive, it's a game of footy and also a get together more than anything," he said.
"Everyone is happy to come along and play and be part of the day."
Mitchell said there was a good representation from numerous clubs, with players coming from Batemans Bay, Cooma and Jindabyne as well as the Bega Valley for the annual game between the best of Group 16 and the best Indigeous players from across the region.
This is the sixth year the All Stars event has been running, and chairman of Group 16 Rugby League Allan Wilton said it was very important, as it brought the community together and celebrated diversity.
"It recognises the contribution our indigenous players have made to Group 16 Rugby League for many years," Wilton said.
"It helps to form a lot of friendships and fosters respect in the community.
"Group 16 are very grateful for the wonderful support and sponsorship they receive from the Canberra Raiders, without that it would be difficult to stage this type of event.
"We also recognise the ongoing long term support from local member Andrew Constance, he really gets behind it."
Wilton said the ladies tackle game was a fast developing part of rugby league in NSW.
"The presence of women in the sport has increased so much. Thirty years ago you wouldn't have seen so much exposure for women to be involved and these games certainly contribute to that development.
"On the day, we try to involve a lot of the community. Katungul and Grand Pacific Health and South Coast Medical Services will be conducting medical checks for the Indigenous community, which is very important and we thank them for their support."
Other community outreach service providers will also be on-site, including Campbell Page, Shoalcoast Legal Services and South Coast Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation and Quit Smoking Program.
lndigenous artists Joseph Stewart and Alison Simpson will be holding stalls, there will be a door prize and free goodie bags for the kids.
The event will take place at Tathra Beach Country Club this Saturday, March 20. Gates open 1pm.
