Friday night's games at the Bega Rec Ground were attended by another great crowd with glorious weather a bonus.
Game one saw the Grand Hotel Rovers play the Cobargo Eels. Cobargo scored first with a barge over try under the post after some very good ball movement over 50 metres. Five minutes later they crossed again after a kick through to lead 12-0.
The Rovers tried hard with some incisive running from the backs, which was eventually rewarded when they scored in the 17th minute to head in to the half-time break 12-4 down.
The Rovers came out firing by scoring in the first five minutes of the second half to bring the score to 12-10.
After good attacking play from both sides Cobargo scored after some strong play from their forwards.
The Rovers put on some good footy just to miss another try with a dropped ball one metre from the line. Their forwards were making good ground only to have another try disallowed.
The Cobargo Eels held on to get the victory with a deserved win 18-10
In the evening's second game, Commercial Hotel played the Wolumla Wombats, who looked very promising against a determined Magpies team.
Wolumla got close early, looking good with some smart ball work. However, the Magpies were the first to score with some constructive play just after a great 50-metre run down the sideline was tackled in the corner.
Both sides came close to scoring in an entertaining first half and both were deserving of more points in a good even game.
The Wombats forwards and backs were combining well. Behind 10-8 they started to get on top with another great burst in the middle by Dan Hyland to take the lead 14-10.
The Commercial Magpies still looked dangerous with the ball with some good attacking play, but another try in the corner after busting through from halfway saw the Wombats home with the win 18-10.
This Friday sees the finals with the first at 6pm between the Commercial Magpies and Grand Rovers followed by the Wolumla Wombats and Cobargo Eels at 6.50pm.
