With Carpe Diem tattooed on his arm, Mr Willis has for years helped mentor business owners to "seize the day", let go of their office-based workload and free up more time for themselves.
Now he is launching Working From Anywhere TagAlong - "a moveable community of collaborative business owners, all living the Carpe Diem Way".
The "collaborative human experiment" will take a shared van journey across Australia, sharing ideas and expertise while leaving the traditional notion of "work" behind.
"Have you ever wondered what an untethered life felt like? Wondered what you would do if you woke up to a different glorious view each morning, with a long, unplanned day stretching ahead of you? No deadlines, no rushing, no traffic to contend with, no demands, just meaningful work when it suited you," Mr Willis enthused.
"Sounds idyllic, right? Something only achieved by the lucky few? The fact is this is my life and it can definitely be yours too. It's time to make time for life."
Mr Willis said he "cooked up this crazy idea" a while back to add a final piece of the puzzle to his WFA mission.
First came a book, The Carpe Diem Way, then a program to help implement it, and now he is ready to take like-minded business people on the road with him.
"Starting in April 2021 and traveling from Port Phillip Bay to Port Douglas, across the Top End and down to Port Augusta, you'll experience the full impact and benefits of the WFA concept as you work on the go while sharing expertise and experiences with like minded people," he said.
"The full journey will take approximately six months but I'm inviting people to join the experiment for as long or as little as they like.
"We'll all be in vans of some sort, either rented, borrowed or owned, and will camp together as a community - stopping in regional towns, connecting, working, sharing, contributing. Living."
This is not a "holiday" as such, but rather a chance to reassess the balance in your life.
"You'll get uncomfortable and find adventure, you'll learn new things with the support of others on the same journey, you'll grow, and you'll teach what you know. Then you'll find a new level of comfort," Mr Willis said.
Mr Willis said any business owner is welcome regardless of your product or service, or the size of your team.
"If 2020 has taught us anything it's that education doesn't need to happen in a classroom and work doesn't have to take place in an office. This journey is the perfect chance to put those remote learning and working skills into practice while enjoying a change of scenery, meeting interesting people and having a break!
"It's your opportunity to find a new normal.
"This is your day to seize the day."
