A different type of Book Week parade was held at Mumbulla School this year. They certainly missed parent participation, but the children still had a wonderful sense of anticipation as they waited near the gate for their friends to arrive, with lots of questions about which character from which book each child represented.

Instead of parading in the hall, this year the children paraded the school playground in class groups. There were cheers and applause from the other classes as they walked by.
Special mention to Nick Whittock, Mumbulla School's librarian, who coordinated the day and arrived as a 'Noodlephant'.
