The building formerly known at the Nimmitabel Bush Nursing Home is now the Community Centre and used widely throughout the local council area.
Spokesperson for the Nimmitabel Advancement Group, Vickie Pollard said the replacement of the old deteriorating roof had been completed.
"The old chimney has been rebuilt from the original bricks and the verandah roof had also been renewed.
"We plan to restore the verandah as soon as funding becomes available," she said.
Snowy Monaro Regional Council, Boco Rock Wind Farm, tax agents, travelling musicians and numerous community consultation groups regularly use the Community Centre.
"We are grateful to Boco Rock Wind Farm Community Enhancement Funds that have enabled us to preserve an important part of Nimmitabel's history," Ms Pollard said.
