Thomas Jenkinson was represented by solicitor James Janke when he appeared in NSW's Raymond Terrace Local Court on Monday charged with supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, possession of a prohibited drug and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
Police say they spotted Mr Jenkinson's car by the side of Raymond Terrace Road at Nelsons Plains in NSW's Hunter Valley about 10.25pm on May 1.
Officers searched the car and allegedly found 120 grams of psilocybin, which is the active chemical ingredient in "magic mushrooms", a small amount of cannabis and cash.
The threshold for a charge of supplying a large commercial quantity of the drug is only 100 grams.
