Weather mapping by the Bureau of Meteorology shows a cold front moving across the southern half of NSW on April 30.
In Bega, it reached about four degrees Celsius around midnight on Friday morning, which was still higher than the record low for May, which was -2.4 degrees on May 28, 2005.
Merimbula and Eden, as data for the latter is recorded at Merimbula, also dropped to four degrees Celsius around 6am on Friday morning, Weatherzone stated.
In Bermagui, which uses data collected from Narooma, the temperature reached nine degrees Celsius by Friday morning.
In Bombala, the temperature dropped to one degree Celsius.
Weatherzone's forecast for Bega across the weekend is windy on Saturday before becoming mostly sunny on Sunday, with temperatures ranging between 17 and six degrees Celsius.
Merimbula and Eden's forecast is windy on Saturday, mostly sunny on Sunday and temperatures will range from 17 to eight degrees across the weekend.
In Bermagui, it is predicted Saturday will be mostly sunny, Sunday windy and temperatures will be between 16 and 12 degrees.
Bombala is predicted to have showers across the weekend, with temperatures from 11 to three degrees.
