Perhaps, you're losing count of how long we've been living like this, in self-isolation and with social-distancing. Perhaps you've even forgotten what day it is.
Sure, there's Tiger King to watch on tele, another batch of scones to bake, and another 6000 steps to take around the block (but only with one friend).
But with many more weeks of this stretching out before us, what to do next? What to do with the kids?
From Monday, ACM, the publisher of this website, will be offering you fresh stories online and a special section in our daily newspapers that we hope you'll find helpful.
The Living in Lockdown series will include stories on:
- workouts to stay fit while staying close to home, from personal fitness coach Renee Valentine
- ways to channel your grandmother in the kitchen with back-to-basic cooking ideas from foodie and Canberra-based journalist Karen Hardy
- fun (and educational) activities for kids from the Children's University of Australasia
- the stories behind some of the treasures housed in Australia's museums and galleries
- sustainable living in your own backyard (think veggies and chooks)
Plus there's a page of puzzles in print every day to keep your brain active.
Look for Living in Lockdown stories online in the Life & Style section of this website and in print editions of these daily newspapers. (To play interactive puzzles online, click through to their websites).
We hope to help keep you informed and entertained; we'll get through this together.
- Joanne Crawford is Head of Content and Shared Services with ACM.
