A man has been charged following an investigation into the alleged sexual touching of a teenage boy on the state's South Coast.

In January this year, detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad began an investigation following reports a 15-year-old boy had been sexually touched by a man who was known to him.
Following extensive investigations, detectives arrested a 19-year-old man at Bega Police Station on February 28.
He was charged with two counts of intentionally sexually touch child between 10 and 16 years, was granted strict conditional bail and scheduled to face Bega Local Court today (Tuesday, March 24).
Police will allege in court that the man sexually touched the boy in January 2020.
The Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad is comprised of detectives who are specially trained to investigate matters against children and adults, including sexual assault, serious physical abuse, and extreme cases of neglect.
