A clinic is being set up at the South East Regional Hospital at Bega to test for COVID-19, also known as coronavirus.

From Friday, March 20, between 11am and 2pm, the clinic will be available to test for the virus at the heart of the current global pandemic.
Those who feel they may be at risk of the coronavirus are asked to first call Health Direct on 1800 022 222 to discuss their symptoms and whether presenting for testing is necessary.
Only people who meet the set criteria will be tested.
The SERH clinic will be clearly signposted, near the radiology department, and will have appropriate separation from the rest of the hospital's services.
As of 11am, March 19, there are 307 confirmed cases or COVID-19 in NSW, with 38,782 cases tested and excluded.
As of March 19 there are no confirmed cases of the virus in the Southern NSW Local Health District.
