The Uniting Church gives them a space for free to meet and talk and they have been getting together every week for the last five years, with usually between 10-20 children each week.
In charge of the group is child and family worker Valerie Schmid-Oke, alongside Kellie Bateman and Linda Fowler.
"It helps create new friendships," Ms Schmid-Oke said.
Adding to the friendly feel of the space, the Bega Men's Shed recently built and presented the group with an outdoor play kitchen for the children.
"They did an amazing job, it's absolutely awesome. It was very generous to help," Ms Schmid-Oke said.
She said the kitchen was a good way of learning for the kids, who are all under five years old and love to explore their environment.
Having their mother at hand also helps create security.
"They can play and come to mum for a cuddle," Ms Schmid-Oke said..
"We really want to thank Bega Men's Shed, especially Eric [Myers]."
