The release of Bega Valley Shire Council's audited financial statements for the last financial year will be delayed for up to two months due to the current bushfire crisis.

The issue is one of many bushfire related motions to be voted on during Wednesday's council meeting.
Council's current focus on "rebuilding and recovery" will see councillors also vote on delaying a number of documents, including the possible raising of rates to help sustain the region's swimming pools.
Council will in fact vote on easing various rates, fees and charges relief residents and businesses impacted by bushfire.
A report on the relief measures will be presented at the next council meeting on February 5.
