"The fire ultimately impacted several properties and buildings in the Moruya industrial area, but our depot incurred no damage," the spokesperson said.
"Essential Energy has a representative in the Emergency Operation Centre in Moruya and will be assisting the Rural Fire Service remove fallen powerlines on roads to allow them to be safely opened to the public."
About 10,000 properties lost power across the South Coast and Riverina areas that day.
Essential Energy said fires damaged the network and crews were attempting to restore power on Friday.
"Prior to yesterday's fire events, customers remaining without power had been reduced to approximately 900," a spokesperson said.
"That number increased by an additional 11,000 yesterday evening across the South Coast and Riverina areas."
Bush fire affected families and businesses can also now access all available assistance being offered by local councils, the State Government and Federal Government, through the NSW Government's new Bush fire Customer Care program.

On Thursday, January 23, 7600 properties lost power in Rosedale, Mossy Point, Broulee, Tomakin, Malua Bay, Moruya, Mogendoura, Cobargo, Bermagui, Wallaga Lake and Beauty Point.
Essential Energy attempted to contact all customers still without power since the New Year's Eve fire to discuss their current power arrangements and advise them of estimated power restoration dates, the spokesperson said.
The company had offered the loan of portable generators to customers and fuel vouchers, including to customers who had their own generator.
"To date, almost 100 generators have been provided and several hundred customers have accepted a fuel voucher," the spokesperson said.
Teams continue to focus on making repairs with power poles needing replacement and restringing powerlines as part of the restoration works.
The spokesperson said the time needed to replace a power pole varied due to a number of factors including access to the site, ground conditions and other damage to the network.
