The plans and designs were opened to public viewing and comment during a three hour session at the Eden Fisherman's Club onThursday, December 19.
Designs for the proposed building have been drawn up by internationally and nationally renowned award winning architectural firm Cox Architecture
The companies founder Phillip Cox has been responsible for designing local structures such as Bermagui's Fisherman's Wharf building, the Sound Shell for Four Winds and Bermagui's Woolworths facade.
Cox architecture have also been responsible for many national high end design projects including Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena, AAMI Park and Barangaroo Ferry Wharf in Sydney amongst others.
A spokesperson for the Port Authority of NSW said Cox's designs responded in unison with the natural environment and the idea was to use reclaimed timber and local Australian Indigenous hardwood species for the structure and look of the building.

The two floor purpose built centre will be constructed on the site of the old Fishermans' co-op also known as the pilchards factory, adjacent to Eden Ice Supplies, within close proximity of the cruise wharf.
The Welcome centre will provide for the growing number of cruise passengers who visit Eden each year as well as house stall holders, port administration and other port operations.
A common comment heard throughout yesterday's information session was one of relief that stall holders will no longer be setting up marquess at 5am in the morning.
"It's a good news story and just what the town needs and deserves," a Port Authority spokesperson told the Magnet.
The construction tender is closed and is currently in process.
Plans and designs will be shared to the community during a second information session at the Eden Fisherman's Club on Wednesday, January 22 between10am and 1pm.
