NSW Police have confirmed about 2.45pm Wednesday, December 18, police were called to Imlay Road, south west of Eden, after a passer-by noticed a vehicle down an embankment.
The sole occupant of the vehicle, believed to be a 75-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers from South Coast Police District attended and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

A male motorist has died following a single vehicle crash south of Eden on Wednesday, December 18.
Far South Coast Police are investigating after they were alerted to the scene by a passer-by who noticed a car down an embankment on Imlay Rd, near Narrabarba.
It is unknown how long the vehicle had been there before being noticed.
The male sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene when emergency services arrived.
Police said at this stage the man's identity is unknown.
Police are continuing their investigations and urge anybody with information or dash-cam footage from the area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
