Ever since Bill Finn started Finns Pest Control 60 years ago, the name has been a common sight from Bermagui to Wonboyn. And now a new owner will be the new face of the business.
"I think 30 years is long enough," Mr Warby said with a smile.
Mr Warby bought the business after returning to the Bega Valley after finishing university. He was working three jobs, which included working behind the bowling club bar.
"Bill would drink there and we would talk about different things, including how good his business was, so I bought it," he said.
Mr Warby said the job has changed a lot over the last 30 years, with improvements in the chemicals used.
"Each year there's something different, for example last year's European wasps saw a spike in business," he said.
New owner Scott Parker said he was looking for a career change and something outdoors when the opportunity arose.
"Six years ago I was thinking it would be a good business to get into. It interests me," he said.
Mr Parker took over at the start of the November, and Mr Warby will be teaching him the ropes over the next six months.
